Located in the Nidderdale AONB this project involved creating a barn conversion to provide ancillary accommodation to the main dwelling. The stone barn was in a dilapidated condition, our client wanted to ensure that the barn was preserved and rebuilt to enable family and friends to stay. The barn is built on a sloping site with changes in levels creating an opportunity to make full use of the topography of the land and create a lower ground level. The location of the building has the benefit of some fantastic views over open countryside in Nidderdale.

The plans and layout were carefully designed to provide the most flexible layout. We submitted for planning approval and once approved handled the building regulation drawings and specifications.
